These are the images of the 2008 Envision Financial Light the Lake Festival supporting Douglas College. The rain ceased and the skies cleared for a fine evening. Multitudes of families came out to create a festive atmosphere. It was a great success!
Preparations for the festival started a week earlier when volunteers decorated trees with strings of lights and the fire department placed delicate light fixtures on street light poles.

The day of the festival came and there was much to do!
Finally, all was ready and people began to arrive. Before long, the growing numbers had filled the venue and everyone enjoyed the sights and sounds.
